Jake & Sam as little engineers. Below, Sam's got the best seat in the house and Mommy gets the crumbs.
For the past couple of years we have a tradition in our budding family of celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve. We spend the day together - heading downtown to see the train display, have lunch and hang out and eventually open presents. This year because Christmas Eve falls on Sunday we had our family day a day early. Saw the trains, had lunch and went ice skating. Presents will wait this year til Christmas morning. Sam and Jakob went skating for the first time. We got as many pictures as we could while juggling little guys and securing the camera bag. Though Jake's first couple times around the very crowded rink were real rail huggers, by the fourth time he was starting to get it. We hope to go back while the rink is still set up over the holidays. Have a great holiday season!
Did we forget to take still shots of the trains? Below - Jake's first time skating. Rink was very crowded and he did great!
