more snow fun

These old bent trees might look familiar from another angle. It's been snowing on and off since our dusting and we probably have a foot of snow now. Needless to say we've been having a little fun in it. Sammy took this picture.

Speaking of another angle.

This picture is about 4:30 in the afternoon after returning from school. Boys were playing just outside the house.
Sam had the day off from school today. This was a pretty easy picture to take. That is once you got Sam to pause for a second.

We made a snowman down at the beach. Sam calls him Sammy-Baba. As you can tell a lot of the kids' coats in Sweden have built in reflectors which is smart considering the winter darkness.
If you didn't know, Sweden invented the zipper. The irony is that we've had so many break since being here it's not funny - two book bags and at least two main winter coats for the boys. Oh well. Sam and I had a fun day. Right after this we put the camera away and went sledding. Even if it doesn't snow again this winter I think we've already doubled last year's total accumulation.
Great kick off to winter.
