not a creature was stirring...okay, at least one

We have been tormented by the sound of an animal gnawing on wood the last couple nights in our room. It was loud enough that Mon slept on the couch instead of our bed. After tying the clues together, we found this guy trying to get out. It's a rhinoceros beetle. Mormor & Mon didn't know there were bugs this big around here. I wonder if he speaks Swedish.
