2007 has less than an hour to go here in Sweden. This year for us was six hours shorter than last year - Sweden is six hours ahead. We've been out at some friends' house and will bring in the new year quietly at home. On the way home Mon said it but we were both thinking it - 2007 was a great year for us. So much has happened.
-February Mon became a U.S. citizen. Hard to believe it hasn't even been a year yet.
-April we closed on our house.
-May we crossed the pond...
Since then the rest is a blur. In June Mon started working and in August boys started school. I know it's only been a short time but so much transition has taken place in a short time it all seems so long ago. Point of no return for many things.
In short, 2007 has been a good year for us, an historic banner year. Kind of sad to see it go. Hard to imagine how 2008 can get any better but it just might.
