I am sitting here at dusk and it is 2.40 pm in the afternoon. Thought I would give you an update on our daylight time. Today sunrise was at 8.44 am and sunset will be 2.48 pm. It is not much time and on an overcast day it seems like it doesn't really get light at all. This whole week though, we have seen some sun and the nights have been very clear so all the stars have been very bright. There are no street lights anywhere near the house so we really get to see all the stars.
Anyway, from here on out we will slowly but surely get more daylight.
