This summer has been markedly warmer than last summer. We have had days on end with scarcely a cloud in the sky. We have worn shorts more often and been able to swim at the beach without freezing. We have also had a great summer of growth for berries. Unfortunately the wild blueberries were plundered by the city folk but the raspberries are plentiful and ready for picking and they are on mormors property and safe from poaching.
That is if you do not include these guys which are about the size of Sams fingers. They like the raspberries too.
