My big brother Scott used to make miracle whip sandwiches on white bread (nothing else) and then dip them in chocolate milk and eat them. Even as an 8 year old (45 years ago) I was grossed out.
Does Jake like white stuff out of the tube? I'm picky, but he is the pickiest I've ever met. I still like him big time! You have challenges for sure!
