harvest

The fruit trees are bearing a lot of fruit this year. We had a ton of cherries earlier and now the apples, pears, and plums are in season. The branches are almost breaking from all the weight of the fruit. Mormor is making a lot of apple sauce, apple pies and apple cake (yum!). There are lots of pears as well. Neighbors are bringing by plums since they can't eat them all by themselves. Want fruit? We got it.

My tomatoes are starting to get ripe! I am excited. I am not that much into tomatoes but seeing the plant come out of a seed and to now actually have fruit is great.
And we do have some pumpkins, not as many as we had last year. More of that later.
