big 4 for Sammy

December 3rd, 2004 Sam came into this world. Yesterday we celebrated his fourth birthday. Dinner was meatballs, chicken nuggets and french fries. Talk about kid feast. Sam picked out his own cake from Munken's. You can't tell in this photo but there are race cars holding the candles and they are going around a drawn icing track.

King for a day, but the highlight is always opening presents, of course.

Sam got a card from Aunt Gene & Uncle Paul, some activity books, a wooden car kit from mormor similar to a soapbox derby car, a Wall-E M-O toy from Jakob and...

a remote control Rory race car. It talks in Swedish and makes a noise like it's squealing the tires. Luckily you can turn the sound off too. : )

Now the brothers each have their own rc car. If we can only keep them from falling down the living room steps they may actually be around for a while. Dad buys about only rechargable batteries now, so let the fun begin, again and again.
