
This morning the Luciatåg stopped at Sam's daycare. Unfortunately he was not up for it. He did walk in for the procession but saw Mom in the second row and came and took a seat in her lap. We could settle for that because when we originally got Sam up an hour earlier than normal he dug his heals in about not wanting to go at all. He is
four after all. Even from Mom's lap we considered it a victory.

Last year in Sam's group school picture he was about the only one without blondish hair. Not to rail against Swedish stereotypes, but it was kind of funny. This year there's a little more diversity. At least two kids besides Sam emigrated from other countries, one from Iraq and a boy named Elvis.

But in the end, it was a day for Swedish tradition. And pepparkakor cookies.

Very cute!
We had a pepparkaka too, at förskolan. There were 7 children, and only the 2 teachers sang. :) But it was fun anyway..
